Volleyball club management · schedules, rotation and sets | ClubLog

Running a volleyball club involves checking attendance, the match format, the first server and player positions and service order. ClubLog supports team schedules, attendance responses and six-player and nine-player match recording. Organizers document meeting preparations, while a designated recorder enters rally outcomes confirmed on court.

Prepare a six-player or nine-player volleyball session

Add the venue and start time to the schedule and review attending, undecided and unavailable responses. Organizers should separately confirm court access, participant roles and the recorder, then agree on the first server and set-ending conditions with both sides. Confirm the nine-player arrangements separately before applying six-player rotation or libero practices.

  1. Create a volleyball schedule with the venue, start time and attendance response deadline.
  2. Review responses and confirm the actual six-player or nine-player participants and recorder.
  3. Check the format, player positions, service order and first server before recording.
  4. Enter each rally outcome once and compare the set score and service state with play.
  5. Have both sides check the scores of each set and the final sets won.

Keep rally points separate from sets won

Choose the six-player or nine-player format and enter the rally winner once per rally. The app’s six-player defaults are first to three sets, with 25-point regular sets and a 15-point deciding set. Nine-player defaults are first to two sets, with 21-point regular sets and a 15-point deciding set. Compare the current set score and service state with play. Score-only records do not provide complete individual attack statistics.

Questions about club management

Can ClubLog record both six-player and nine-player volleyball?

Both formats are available in match preparation. They differ in the sets needed to win and the regular-set target. The six-player model tracks rotation, while nine-player uses a separate service order. Confirm the participants and first server before starting. App defaults do not establish the rules for every competition.

What should a volleyball recorder check besides the score?

Check the current set, the next serving side and server, and actual player positions and service order. In six-player play, check rotation when the receiving side gains service. Recorded state follows entered outcomes, so compare it with play throughout the match. Confirm nine-player positioning through the rules agreed for that match.

Does recording volleyball scores produce complete player attack statistics?

Team scores alone cannot provide complete player attack statistics. Individual records require actual participant identities and relevant events. Organizers should decide whether to focus on team scores or detailed recording before play, and explain the scope of the record to members afterward.
