Basketball club management · schedules and 1/2/3-point scoring | ClubLog
A basketball club needs to confirm attendance and court time, then agree on active players, substitutions and the recorder. ClubLog supports team schedules, attendance responses and five-player basketball recording. The recorder distinguishes made-shot types and keeps quarters and the clock aligned with the game.

Confirm court time, active players and substitutions
Add the venue and start time to the schedule and check attendance responses. Organizers should share the starting players, waiting players and substitution arrangements before play. Confirm court access and who will check scores and fouls, then compare the agreed match length with the app defaults.
- Add the court, start time and attendance response deadline to the basketball schedule.
- Confirm attendance, active and waiting players, and the recorder.
- Check the five-player format and actual match length before recording.
- Distinguish one-, two- and three-point scores and compare quarters and the clock with play.
- Check quarter scores and the final total, and explain the extent of detailed recording.
Record free throws, two-pointers, three-pointers and quarters
Select the five-player format. Enter a made free throw as one point and a made field goal as two or three points. The app defaults are four 10-minute quarters and five-minute overtime periods. Align quarter changes and clock starts and stops with play, and enter fouls and timeouts after confirming the call. Score calculation does not replace on-court decisions about traveling or illegal contact.
Questions about club management
How do I record free throws, two-pointers and three-pointers?
In a five-player game, distinguish a made free throw from a made field goal and select the awarded two or three points for the field goal. Entering every shot with the same value changes the total. Confirm the scoring call and compare both teams’ displayed scores after entry.
What quarter and clock format does ClubLog use for basketball?
The five-player basketball model defaults to four 10-minute quarters and five-minute overtime periods. These are app defaults. If your club uses another match length, check the available settings against your arrangements before starting. The recorder must align clock operation and quarter changes with the game.
Can I also record basketball fouls and timeouts?
Basketball recording supports foul and timeout entries. Confirm the actual call and relevant player before entering them. A game started primarily for scoring does not automatically gain unrecorded fouls or player events. The person responsible for on-court decisions determines whether a foul occurred.
