Baseball club management · schedules, batting order and innings | ClubLog

Baseball clubs need to prepare batting order, fielding positions, pitchers, catchers, innings and venue time limits alongside attendance. ClubLog supports team schedules, attendance responses and nine-player baseball recording. The recorder checks the current pitcher and batter, enters pitch or plate-appearance outcomes, then compares runner positions and runs with play.

Check batting order, fielding positions and venue time limits

Add the venue, start time and opponent to the schedule and review attendance responses. Organizers should establish batting order separately from fielding positions and confirm pitchers, catchers and the recorder. Agree on innings, time limits, ties and mercy conditions with both sides. The app’s default innings do not establish venue access or every match-ending condition.

  1. Add the venue, start time, opponent and attendance response deadline to the baseball schedule.
  2. Confirm participants, batting order, fielding positions, pitchers, catchers and the recorder.
  3. Check the nine-player format, actual innings, time limit and ending conditions.
  4. Enter pitches or plate-appearance outcomes and check inning halves, outs, runners and runs.
  5. Check runs by inning and the final score, and explain the extent of individual recording.

Record pitches and plate appearances alongside innings and runners

Select the nine-player format and check the lineup and batting order. The app has a default nine-inning model for pitches, plate appearances and runner movements. Confirm the current pitcher and batter before entry, then compare the inning’s top or bottom half, balls, strikes, outs, bases and runs. Wait for confirmed decisions before assigning advances. Score-only matches do not provide complete individual statistics.

Questions about club management

Can ClubLog record baseball innings and runners?

The nine-player baseball model handles the top and bottom of innings, balls, strikes, outs, runner positions and runs. The recorder checks the current pitcher and batter before entering a pitch or plate-appearance outcome, then compares actual outs and bases after the play ends.

Must every baseball club match use nine innings?

Nine innings is the app default. Clubs and competitions may agree on different innings, venue time limits, tie handling and mercy conditions. Compare the match arrangements with available app settings before starting, and confirm how your game will be run instead of assuming the defaults match it.

Does a final baseball score provide complete batting and pitching statistics?

A final score alone cannot provide complete batting and pitching statistics. Individual records need actual participant identities and relevant pitch, plate-appearance and runner events. Agree on what the recorder will enter beforehand, and explain the distinction between score-focused records and detailed player statistics to members.
